Ban fur farming in the EU
Together, we can remind the Commission of Fur Free Europe's demands: a ban on fur farming and the trade in fur on the EU internal market. Nothing else is acceptable.

The extensive citizens' initiative Fur Free Europe collected 1.5 million signatures for a ban on fur farming within the EU. In March 2026, the European Commission will respond to the citizens' initiative by presenting proposals for action, but there are already signs that a ban will not happen.
