Protests against Radisson continues

Project 1882 is intensifying pressure on Radisson Hotel Group. Yesterday, the organization held a protest outside Radisson in Gothenburg, Sweden, demanding that the hotel chain take responsibility for hens.

Yesterday, another protest targeting the Radisson Hotel Group took place – this time in Gothenburg, Sweden – drawing substantial attention from hotel guests as well as people passing by.

The protest is part of a global campaign in which Project 1882 and other organizations urge Radisson to set a clear deadline for phasing out eggs from caged hens.

– Radisson Hotel Group has backed away from its global commitment to phase out eggs from hens in cages. That’s why we’re here today outside Radisson Blu Scandinavia in Gothenburg, Sweden, demanding the hotel chain to take responsibility. Project 1882 wants to see empty cages – not empty promises, said Coral Ricote Lajusticia, Director of Campaigns for Project 1882, during the protest.

Despite previous protests in Sweden and worldwide, Radisson has yet to take action. Project 1882 will continue pressuring the hotel chain until it fulfils its commitment to the hens.
